The Kitty occurrence is located just southwest of the peak of Zechtoo Mountain, 5 kilometres north-northeast of the village of Iskut.

The showing is hosted by Devonian-Permian Stikine assemblage metavolcanic and metasedimetary rocks that are typically phyllitic to schistose. The zone of interest occurs within a kilometre to the south of a large Early Mississippian granodiorite to diorite pluton. Two mineralized systems were reported to have been exposed in trenches.

The first system is composed of narrow, widely spaced quartz-carbonate (ankerite) veins and stringers. The hostrocks are described as phyllitic volcanics that may be tuffaceous. Veins display various orientations but are preferentially aligned with the foliation plane. The veins average 0.5 centimetre in width but may be up to 1.5 metres wide. These veins comprise an aggregate of 1 to 10 per cent of most exposures and occur in a zone with widths of over 5 metres and strike length of at least 170 metres. These veins are weakly mineralized with trace to 1 per cent disseminated pyrite and trace amounts of disseminated chalcopyrite. Phyllitic grab samples assayed up to 3.6 per cent copper while one chip sample yielded 0.17 per cent copper over 1.5 metres (Assessment Report 21760). A sample of a high-grade pod of quartz-pyrite-chalcopyrite-malachite with 10 centimetres width assayed 8.98 per cent copper, 24.5 grams per tonne silver and 0.045 gram per tonne gold (Assessment Report 21416).

The second mineralized system is 50 metres to the southwest of the first. The style of mineralization is reported to be similar to the first except that arsenopyrite is present. The hostrocks are slightly less foliated and the remnant volcanic textures more evident. A thick (approximately 1 metre) lenticular quartz vein with blebs of pyrite, arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite occurs in one of the trenches. One grab sample yielded 0.6 per cent copper and 1.61 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 21760).

The best result from chip sampling in 2010 was from a 2.0 metre sample grading 0.592 per cent copper, 1.7 grams per tonne silver and near-background gold values (Assessment Report 32023).

Nine bulldozer trenches were excavated in an area 1 kilometre to the southwest of Zechtoo Mountain, apparently in the 1970s by Great Plains Development Company of Canady Ltd., but no record of this work is available. These trenches were relocated in 1990 by West Pride Industries and the area was restaked as the Zech claims and known as the Zetu property (see also Railway, 104H 033). The property was then optioned to Hyder Gold Inc. for follow-up work in 1991.

In 2010, Solitaire Minerals Inc. completed a program of four days of helicopter-supported surface exploration, consisting of reconnaissance-style soil geochemical sampling at a 100-metre station spacing and geological mapping. A total of 28 rock, 218 soil (6 outside of the property boundary), and 21 silt samples were taken. Also, in 2010, a helicopter-borne Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) and aeromagnetic geophysical survey was carried out over parts of the Yellow Chris and Red Chris South properties, on behalf of Teuton Resources Corp. A total of 530 line-kilometres was flown, with 201.1 line-kilometres flown over the northernmost survey grid, within Teuton's Yellow Chris claims, which cover this showing. Total Magnetic Intensity (TMI) data show a northwest trending group of three discrete, circular to ovate magnetic anomalies along the eastern edge of the Yellow Chris survey grid, coincident with the Hazelton Group volcanic intrusive. The most prominent feature of the Total Magnetic Intensity map is a large, discrete, roughly oblate magnetic high in immediate sharp contact with a strong magnetic low in the southern part of the survey area (Assessment Report 32327).

In 2013, 454 soil samples were taken along traverses overlying various magnetic highs and lows outlined by the previously flown airborne geophysical survey. A few scattered copper anomalies are apparent from the survey data, with results ranging from 4 to 1002 parts per million copper. Sampling failed to identify any major zones of significant gold mineralization, with a few spot highs of up to 380 and 680 parts per billion gold. Arsenic values ranged from less than 4 to 1847 parts per million with five samples over 291 parts per million. Lead returned values of less than 6 to 421 parts per million and zinc ranges from less than 5 to 772 parts per million (Assessment Report 34216).

The 2013 Redhill Resources prospecting and sampling program was carried out to follow up on results from the helicopter-borne magnetic survey conducted by Teuton Resources in 2010. The primary goal of the program was to examine two adjacent areas of magnetic low and high located on claims Yellow Chris 2 and 3. A total of 26 rock (24 grab and 2 float) and 5 silt samples were collected. A few of the collected rock samples returned anomalous values in copper, lead, zinc, silver, and gold. Sample ISK-24 (float) assayed 1470 parts per million copper, 109 parts per billion gold and 2.7 parts per million silver. The sample represents a fragment of quartz-carbonate vein with 10-15 per cent pyrite, pyrrhotite, limonite, and minor chalcopyrite. The float most likely derives from a gossanous pod approximately 10 by 5 metres in size located in a cliff above. Sample ISK-15 returned 226 parts per million copper, 256 parts per million lead and 140 parts per million zinc. A few other samples returned slightly anomalous values in copper, gold, and zinc. Silt samples recorded low values (Assessment Report 34422).

Revolver Resources Inc. completed rock and chip sampling of mineralized trenches (1970) on the Kitty (Summit B) showing. Trench 4 assayed 0.26 parts per million gold, 0.53 parts per million silver, 1941 parts per million copper (weighted average) from chip samples over 4.55 metres. One grab sample assayed 2.48 parts per million gold, 0.30 parts per million silver, and minor copper. From Trench 3 a chip sample assayed 0.84 parts per million gold, 0.90 parts per million silver, and 1530 parts per million copper over 2 metres. A composite grab sample of a mineralized quartz vein in this 2 metre zone assayed 2.87 grams per tonne gold. A 25-centimetre-wide scoroditic-altered vein assayed 12.30 parts per million gold, 15.5 parts per million silver and 1720 parts per million copper. In Trench 9, one composite grab of scoroditic-altered material assayed 13.00 grams per tonne gold, 17.9 grams per tonne silver and 1730 parts per million copper (Press Release - Revolver Resources Ltd., August 19, 2013).

A National Instrument (NI) 43-101 report was completed and filed with SEDAR ("Report outcomes identify two previously identified northwest trending Au-As-Cu mineralized faults yielded high precious metal values. One structure hosts copper-arsenic-bearing pyrite-rich quartz veining with values from 0.47 to 2.87 grams per tonne Au. The other is quartz-scorodite-copper veining returning values from 10.9 to 17.9 grams per tonne Au").
